"A specialty office is supposed to feel like the place you've been going for years — even on your first visit."
Columbus sits between two of the country's busiest medical centers. For decades, that meant the women in Colorado County had a choice between a long drive to Houston for specialty care and an even longer wait to be seen. We opened this practice to change that calculus.
One of us spent fellowship years inside an operating room — performing robotic hysterectomies, excising endometriosis, repairing pelvic floors, and managing pregnancies that needed an experienced hand. The other built a practice around the quieter parts of the field: well-woman care, contraceptive counseling, fertility evaluation, the menopause years, and the routine prenatal visits that make up the bulk of obstetrics.
Together those two lanes cover almost everything a patient in this part of Texas needs from an OB/GYN. When something falls outside our scope — IVF, maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology — we coordinate the referral and stay in the loop. You shouldn't have to navigate a referral on your own.
We also made some deliberate choices about how this office runs. A real person answers the phone during business hours. Our on-call coverage at night belongs to one of us, not a service. Our charts are shared, so if you see Dr. Ghazal for a routine visit and Dr. Elhammady for a procedure, the notes follow you.
We hope you'll come see us. The kettle is on.
