Eslam Elhammady, MD. OBGYN
Department

Gynecology — the work of every season.

The everyday care of women's reproductive health — annual exams, contraception, menstrual health, menopause, and the workup of every symptom in between.

How we think about it

Gynecology is most of what we do. Annual visits are not a formality — they catch things early, they build the kind of doctor-patient relationship that lasts decades, and they are where the unspoken concerns finally get spoken.

Anything that needs surgery, hormone management, fertility workup, or coordination with another specialist starts here. Most of the time it ends here too.

Inside the department

What we do.

Each procedure has its own page with the details — indications, what to expect, recovery timeline. The list below is a starting map.

  1. 01

    Well-woman annual exam

A real visit, not a rushed checkbox — including the conversations everyone skips.

  2. 02

    Pap testing & HPV screening

Cervical cancer screening on the current guideline schedule.

  3. 03

    Colposcopy

For abnormal Pap results — done in-office, with results explained in plain language.

  4. 04

    Contraceptive counseling & insertion

IUDs, implants, pills, patches, rings — placement and removal in the office.

  5. 05

    Menopause & hormone health

Symptom management, hormone therapy when indicated, bone-health planning.

  6. 06

    Menstrual disorder evaluation

Workup and treatment for irregular, heavy, or painful periods.

  7. 07

    Pelvic pain evaluation

When pain has not been well explained elsewhere — a structured workup, not a brush-off.

  8. 08

    Pelvic ultrasound

In-office imaging for fibroids, cysts, and the unexplained.
